Now I have this game and God of War to play. They are both fantastic. I only started 5 minutes worth of play on this and it’s incredible. I like to compare video game play like eating a great meal, I want to savor it and not eat it quickly. I’m really taking my time with these two and in two weeks, Vampyre comes out so it’s about to be a slow burn…oh and I’m still working on my inks for Shield of Justice. All about balance.
I think it would be a great idea to create a group together after the Infinity War has ended and the dust clears to find the superheroes who didn’t or won’t sign the Sokivia Accords. They would be under Secretary of State Ross’s orders, and they would be named after him..
Just a thought..what do you think?
First my likes: I loved the movie. I thought the tone was great, not over the top funny but more in line with the Winter Soldier. The actors in the movie were terrific. Boseman and Michael B. Jordan were great, and the scene stealer for me was M’Baku. The special effects and technology brought to the game was outstanding. I liked the question posed about sharing their resources with the world or not trusting the world with it was something I struggled with during the movie.
Now my dislikes: WHY DO THEY KEEP KILLING OFF THE BAD GUYS? This is the main problem I have with the MCU movies overall is how they use their villains. Only good one they have is Loki so far, and the rest are mediocre. They had not just one but TWO good villains in the movie that they could have built off of in possibly later movies.
I also didn’t fully understand Killmonger’s main goal. I get that he wanted the throne, but afterwards, he wanted to give the vibranium weapons to his contacts around the world to fight against their oppressors, if I heard that right. So, who exactly were they going to fight? their bosses, the government, and then what would they do if they succeeded? I need to see it again to make some sense of it. Overall, I do feel the movie was well done and I rank it #2 on my MCU list of movies, with Winter Soldier #1.
It took me longer than I expected to see Logan but I finally did this past weekend. I didn’t quite know what to expect besides the R rating, which meant more blood and cursing, which I’m okay with normally. I can honestly say after watching it that it is the BEST comic book movie I’ve seen so far, surpassing my others such as The Dark Knight and The Winter Soldier.
I never expected it to be as deep in not just action, but emotion. It had funny moments, intellectual moments and really sad moments. Overall, I really enjoyed it and would probably watch it again just to see what I missed the first time.
Hello. I hope that everyone is having a great holiday. Just wanted to update on the SOJ pages. Page 8 is completed, as I misspoke on page 9 (I jumped ahead on that page), so it’s actually page 8. I’m going to start uploading volume 3 in February, which is when I will have the pages for part one completed. I also wanted to upload the cover page for the volume 3 as a sneak peek for what’s to come.
Also, I’m adding the last ring question for #Marvel heroes/villains to get a ring. The ring of Greed, or Avarice. After today, I’ll go into why I picked my four for each ring (as quick as a can explain). my 4: Dr Doom, Iron Man, Moonstone and Reed Richards.
Hope you enjoy, stay tuned and be blessed.
SOJ volume 3 cover page…
Next challenge: four for the yellow ring of Fear. Let’s go!
I had seen this years ago, but just catching it again on Encore I forgot how insane it was in every sense of the word. Every part was just pure intensity, from the fights to the planning to the gunplay was sharp. This is one movie that I can add to the list of watching everytime it comes on TV. Every. Time.
